Missing macromedia flash plugin — Cannot edit avatars?

Whenever i try to access yahoo avatars i get to the

“We’re sorry, Yahoo! Avatars requires the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player.

Free download: – Macromedia Flash Player ” page.

I’ve reinstalled the plugin several times, yet it is still not working.  Any ideas what is wrong?

You may need to go into Control Panel→Add/Remove Programs
and uninstall the Flash Player and then reinstall. Or, after you have installed the player, restart your computer. Many changes do not take effect unless you do a restart.

    Good luck♥

    1. Uninstall the existing flash player… Click http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe and save… Run this uninstaller to remove the existing flash player first…

    2. Next go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download!

Or you can update the exiting flash player by running this C:WINDOWSsystem32Macromed and you can see an updater… Click that to update!

If not… Try another location like http://uk.avatars.yahoo.com/ You can surely see now! :o )
