Logic Audio Units

www.pointblankonline.net – One of the most common questions we hear at Point Blank is how do you install audio plugins that do not come pre-loaded in daws? Although not immediately obvious, the answer is really very simple. Watch the video to see how it’s done. This technique is especially useful for the courses such as Sound Design (linked above) where you will experiment with 3rd party plugins to create your own unique soundscapes. Point Blank have even more exlcusive music production video tutorials, tips and techniqes, which can be seen by simply following this link: www.pointblankonline.net

Logic scans the plugs on boot so it should have found it. You can check what’s happening by going Preferences > Audio Units Manager > Reset and Rescan Selection. Then look to see what is being said about Massive in the Compatibility column – if all is ok you will see ’successfully validated’ . If you are still experiencing problems then you should contact Native Instruments Support Department.

Thanks for the great tutorial :)
but i got one question to ask. I installed massive and I see the massive.component file under mac hd/library/audio/plug-ins/component. However, when I restart logic it doesnt really detect as well as I don’t see it on the audio units. Could you tell me why? Cheers!
