Right now i mainly use Audacity for mixing tracks and stuff like that but I have to use wavosaur to do VST stuff because while Audacity supports VST plugins it doesn’t have the graphical interface option the wavosaur does.
so does anyone know of any free audio editing software that has the simplicity and ease of use for multi track stuff and supports GUI for VST plugins

Try using Sony Acid Express. That is free and does the job, but you can only fit 10 tracks, you need to buy it to do unlimited stuff.
